How we are building it

Design principles

These are the principles guiding EduNex’s development; we will validate them in the pilots before launch.

  • Web application

    Runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones, with nothing to install.

  • Data separated by institution

    Each institution can only access its own information.

  • Roles and permissions

    Each user sees and edits only what their role allows.

  • Privacy by design

    Data processing aligned with Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012, with special care for minors’ data.

  • Proven technology

    Django, PostgreSQL and Vue: open-source tools widely used in production.

  • Built for the local context

    Academic terms, subject-area plans, student records and the national grading scale.
